[/quote] I would just consider that $5k more isn't going to go far toward getting you a better house, but it will mean you need space for an extra car (assuming you're not near Metro), add in commuting costs, etc. No one wants to be stagnant at work - it doesn't feel good and it's a great way to be frustrated. But I think for both of you, this sounds like a really good situation. It can't hurt to put out feelers and see what other opportunities might be out there if he did start really looking, that said - maybe you'd discover something great, or realize that actually what you've got is pretty great and you'll find a way to make it work.[/quote]
