I'm not sure there's any "new leadership thinking" available to us that could match Putin's ruthlessness,  wiliness, and sociopathic/psychopathic tendencies. I mean, what preparation/education could a US political leader have that could prepare them to go up against a former KGB agent who has no respect for human life and is a likely psychopath? American presidents are stupid to think they can "charm" Putin or pacify him. [/quote]
