Is the culture at Landon really changing for the better? I attended an event last year and loved the LS Head, Chris. I know he is no longer the LS Head now. I also met a complete jerk of a teacher who is the opposite of what I want for my DS--a real loud-mouthed, chest-beating ape. Do colleges discriminate against Landon boys? What schools are they getting into?

What is the culture there now? I heard the homework in LS is insane---four hours sometimes in third grade. Ridiculous and not developmentally appropriate. Are the only kids who survive the jocks? My son loves sports but he's not an ape, he's sweet and thinks of others first. I'm NOT saying all jocks are apes, I'm asking because I have heard that the only kids who make it there are the ones who are jocks and jerks. Please tell me this is not the case. Because I want to send my DS to Landon because of a few great teachers I've met in US.
