Families absolutely must have access to this.  Anyone who has had any kind of ongoing health issue, including mental health, knows it is a process.  It's not like someone goes to the doctor and bam, they are scheduled for gender affirming surgery next week.

And I say that as someone who likely would never consent to this type of surgery for my children while they are minors.  I am adamantly opposed to it in concept.  But I also recognize I am not a medical or mental health professional.   Give people access to knowledge/expertise/care.  Let them make the best decision for their family, in their own unique circumstances.

If we claim to be a nation that loves freedom, I don't know why we work so hard to take it away from each other.
