I gave notice on Monday morning, ymy last day was the following Friday. I needed a signed offer letter in hand before giving notice and I didn't get it until 8am Monday,
Signed offer letter is a worthless piece of paper. My new job I started April 17. Pre April 17 offer can be pulled. Not on benefits new job till May 1. If offer pulled I am out of luck and I rather wait till May 1 for last day old job so I am on medical new job
It sounds like you work for/are hired by shit companies. Literally every job I've had since my first one has been a job I've been recruited into by a former colleague, so the idea of a job offer being pulled out from under me with less than two weeks notice is highly unlikely when a company has put this much work into recruiting me, LOL.
