An H1-B visa is only TEMPORARY and good for up to 7 years - that is NOT an application for "citizenship" or premanent residency (green card) - that is an error in reporting. There are 50 million DOCUMENTED hispanics in the U.S. compared to 17 million asians per the last census - if you take into account undocumented hispanics, there are probably 5 x as many hispanics in the U.S. as asians, if not more (I have never met an undocumented asian, and I'm from MoCo/Fairfax County, with 2 of the highest asian populations in the entire U.S.) Plus, FYI, "asians" includes people from India, as well as Korea, Japan, China, etc. . .
