A lot of times what that means is that the DCPS posting has not been properly updated, not that the slots were unclaimed for two months.  Central office does a horrible job of collecting real time data from schools and publicizing it in a consolidated list.

I'm not saying that all slots were taken at all schools, just I doubt that the July and Sept central lists were an accurate reflection of change at all schools. [/quote]
