You are supposed to remove them and install another screw an inch or two from the original hole. Mud a couple of times, sand, prime, and then paint. I have one house with really good lighting and I swear that nails are popping out of the wall on a daily basis. I also have another house (rental) that is horribly lit, and I swear there are zero nail pops lol[/quote]
