We are a new Lafayette family and it would be more helpful to have actual information than opinions.[/quote] Not the pp you're asking, but here's a possible interpretation: By virtue of demographics/family support, Lafayette will pretty much always do well. Its success, in terms of test scores and other objective metrics, is basically guaranteed. But that doesn't mean that it is well-run. And it doesn't mean that it couldn't be a much better school that supports its students and families more effectively. A really good principal can make a huge difference, even in a school with as many built-in advantages as Lafayette. And a mediocre/inflexible principal can hold a school like this back. I'll leave it to PP to validate/provide examples.[/quote]
