This list is super helpful. Thanks OP! I second lists like this for GW and Sibley.
I delivered at Sibley 2 weeks ago, and delivered my first at WHC (although it was quite some time ago - big age gap). Hands down preferred my delivery at Sibley. Here is my Sibley list. Pros: - Most of the food was actually pretty good. Only had one meal that I didn’t care for (pizza we ordered from the cafeteria right after delivery). - postpartum room was spacious, and the bed provided for the support person was better - I was encouraged to use the nursery at night to get some sleep - the nurses were much more attentive and generally a bit nicer. LOVED my L&D nurse especially - L&D room was huge, and all of it was incredibly clean - checked in after hours for an induction, and it was calm and easy Cons: - I had to remind my postpartum nurses about certain things, such as getting medications at the right time - I did feel like I was rushed out of there a bit (discharged 36 hours after birth), but that could be just how a normal, uncomplicated birth goes (my first was a preemie) - if there had been complications and we needed NICU, I would have wanted the higher level NICU at WHC and being closer to Children’s - the lactation consultants were a bit pushy, but I didn’t like the ones at WHC either Overall, my Sibley birth experience was much better and calmer than WHC. My first being a preemie I am sure had something to do with that, but both my husband and I were more comfortable and felt more supported by the staff. I am sure I am forgetting stuff, but I am a bit sleep deprived at the moment. Happy to answer questions!
