I guess it depends on the year and how many girls there are in the age group, but older daughter’s team played in EDP. Younger one’s team has quite a few girls and continues to grow so they play in both NCSL and EDP and girls can move up and down between those depending on how they’re playing.

There was concern recently about a new alliance with BRYC but as far as I can tell it’s no different than the alliance they had with TSJ and actually might be better for them because apparently a lot of the promises of benefits on TSJ (access to field house, coaching, etc. didn’t pan out). The BRYC alliance will be the avenue to ECNL-RL for both clubs.

I would say go try out with a team and see what it’s like. If she’s a 2009, just be aware the current coach won’t be around next year and they’re interviewing new coaches now [/quote]
