Just a thought too -- he took it pass/fail because he calculated that to have an A in the class could bring down his GPA since he was going into 10th with a 4.3. That took off some of the pressure too to be perfect with every assignment. He didn't ever miss a class though as the penalties for that were pretty stiff. [/quote]
