If the i-Ready scores were good, then in all honesty, your DC, didn't get in because of the GBRS. At a minimum, they needed one showing consistently observed. Having all of them (not sure if your 4th one was) frequently observed will in the eyes of the comittee mean your child is smart but doesn't required Level 4 based off the initial screening.

You should appeal but DON'T include the WISC.  Anything less than 99th percentile for an appeal will be a negative against you.

Appeal with a cover explaining why your child needs the Level 4. Use ALL the 5 pages for the work samples. Don't skimp out / get lazy. The work samples MUST exhibit your DC's talent and ways of thinking that is above his/her age group and also outside of the box thinking.
