I think you should do that, and then compare it against both the US average (about 16 metrics tons per year) and the international average (about 5 metric tons per year). At least in my case, knowing my CO2 footprint has led to alterations of my behavior. I've cut my footprint by about 40% through a combination of lifestyle adjustments. I don't feel that these adjustments have negatively affected my happiness. I still enjoy life, but I do it without emitting as much CO2. [/quote]
