[/quote] Here you are, polluting every MCPS accelerated math thread with your usual lies. The BCC cluster fights tooth and nail against kids taking Algebra in 6th. Some lower income clusters are thrilled to be asked. It’s all school and cluster dependent. OP, this is on request and test-in only, although I’ve heard of some schools just letting kids in with very high MAP-M scores. Don’t hesitate to ask! My kid is doing well in Honors Geo as a 7th grader, and will go to her high school for first period Algebra 2 in 8th grade. She had a 280 something in 6th grade MAP-M, but her school put up an enormous fuss about letting her take Algebra in 6th. It was entirely ridiculous.[/quote]
