But Monday night...... I could see he really needed some coaching and training with his footwork. I told him he did great and we would see what what they said. Honestly, I expected nothing. We got home at like 7:30 and by 9:30, there was an email asking him to come back on Tuesday for a callback. We went on Tuesday and there were maybe 15 kids from Monday night. They were split into two groups and they played the travel kids during their practice. He did better on Tuesday.....still could see he was never really coached but he was aggressive and really tried. Today is Thursday and haven't heard anything yet..... not even sure what Tuesday was all about. The kids they pulled seemed to be somewhere between moderately good and "advanced" rec level. Maybe they were looking for more black and gold players....or adding a team below gold? We do not mind AT ALL being a lower team b/c he has to learn somewhere. If he ends up being good, I would guess they'd move him up. Anyway--- just another layer....hasn't been totally crickets for all of us at Monday's tryouts.[/quote]
