I personally know of several Ivies (Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Columbia) and an Amherst.
Athletes ? URM? Unhooked?
Nope just smart hardworking lovely kids.
Princeton and Amherst kids are long term (since middle school) national-level debaters--like among the top 20 high school debaters in the US. Harvard is the editor of the school paper. Cornell is a mix of athletic recruits and some non-recruits. There is a Columbia football recruit but I'm not sure who this is being referred to. They're all kids with top academics who also excel in some outlying way (the norm for Ivy admits).
