I grew up in a shoes off home and maintain one now and I don’t see how people don’t get this. Plus everyone who is regularly in my home barefoot showers and has good personal hygiene. I’ve never seen sweaty feet. And even if they were sweaty, I live in a city with disgusting sidewalks with human and animal waste everywhere. The idea of shoes in my house is far more gross - vacuums don’t pick that up and I don’t care to sanitize my floors daily.[/quote]
