Most kids, even from Eastern MS magnet, aren't used to that level of expectation in the writing. DC, now a senior at RMIB, said it was the toughest class, and that most kids got a C in the first writing assignment. But, don't despair. They eventually meet the higher expectation, and many end up with an A in the class at the end. DC said if they look at their writing from the beginning of RMS 9 to now, they can see a huge improvement. As for a tutor.. maybe DC will be interested over the summer, if you're interested.[/quote]
