I have seen the orange metal boots on cars in my neighborhood many times. I’m near Georgetown hospital. [/quote] In the last year DC has started booting cars again though not in great numbers - in fact if a car is boot eligible it is tow eligible though in most instances cars get booted first since there are a lot more boots than tow trucks. But the DC Council is finally getting serious about this issue and it sounds like a lot of folks on the DC Council are going to put some money in the budget for a lot more boots and tow trucks and the staff to put them on cars and that liability never goes away.[/quote]
