The main reasons were not enough time for high school ECs, high schoolers need to be available to babysit younger siblings, and highschoolers need to work after school.[/quote] Charlottesville schools flipped HS and ES many years ago. Extra curriculars happened before school started versus after.[/quote] If extracurriculars happen before school, doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of this initiative which is to give teenagers more time to sleep in?[/quote]
