We also have a bernedoodle but this is not our experience. Ours is wavy and like a PP, we brush every now again. Wavy coat, very little shedding and no matting. We get her groomed every 8 weeks, $125 + tip.[/quote]

And this is why designer mutts are a giant scam. You guys are paying pure breed prices for a random non-standardized mutt. There is a reason why pure breeds exist and that reason is standardization and predictable phenotypes. Doodle is not a breed so you might get a double coat or not. Roll the dice.[/quote]
