The very existence of Black fraternities and sororities espouses diversity, equity, and inclusion. It's important to note that Black students were initially banned from the major primarily white institutions (PWIs) in Florida like the University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Miami, and the University of South Florida, none of which were integrated until the 1960s. Once there, Black students weren't welcome in the white fraternities and sororities though white people have always been welcome in the predominantly Black Greek letter organizations."

Every greek house has the same wording in their mission statements as do most service organizations. If wanting inclusion is the bar for being tossed off campus, then there will be no more national organizations of any kind on Florida campuses. [/quote]
