This teacher behaves like all teachers are dumb mules that do what they are told to do even if it's illogical and inappropriate for a child. Why else would this teacher accept for a moment the premise that a student working 3 or 4 grade levels above in her math class should be forced to stay they for a whole year and repeat the same process all over again the next year ... until there is equilibrium and everyone else is close to par. Perhaps, she will learn some critical thinking skills as she "assiduously" prepares her "lesson plans" in arithematic for her classroom children -- then prepares for how to assess and evaluate these kids a year later based on those lessons plans.
