I’m on week 9, no appetite reduction whatsoever, and yes I have diabetes, so please don’t come at me about shortages. Really hoping for some help here! I’ve had type 2 for about a decade, but once I lost 100 pounds on ww, I was able to control it with food and went off metformin. Last summer (please don’t judge) I made a terrible decision to start drinking Coca Cola mini again. One a day, a little treat, yes I know that’s awful and my a1c went up to 10.7. Immediately went on ozempic in January, and so far I’ve had zero side effects, zero appetite suppression, and zero weight loss. I just did my first shot of 2.0 today, and after that I really want to switch to Mounjaro. Yes the most important thing is lowering my a1c, but I still would love to lose another 40/50 pounds. My dosing was: week 1-3: 0.25, week 4-5: 0.5, week 6: 0.75, week 7-8: 1.0, and now today 2.0. This is now at the Wegovy dose for weight loss, so I’m really hopefully I will start to have some reduction in appetite. Has anyone else experienced this? I just reading on Reddit about all these people losing so much weight, starting out the first week. Yet here I am 2+ months in and haven’t lost a pound. I know I also need to do the work and I have joined WW (always exercised but I know it’s about the food not exercise). Anyone else out there not losing with ozempic?
