Ultimately, you can spend a ton of money and get a great IEP, but if the school simply doesn't have the staff to do whatever it is you are asking for, you are unlikely to get the services that your child needs.  And if they are services that can be accomplished through private tutoring, that might be a better use of your time and money (e.g., if your child is dyslexic, spend your money on outside OG tutoring rather than fighting for tutoring that the school is not really going to effectively provide).

Also, be realistic as to when the school can provide the services.  If you want pull out services, they are going to interfere with something.  There is only so much time in the school day and only so much staff, so if you/your child is going to have to be flexible and likely give something up to get those services.[/quote]
