Everyone wants to comment but noone is doing the requested assignment. Don't just say...you are paying too much. List what you bought and how much you paid. Sure. Add where you shopped too. Saying you spend $800/month to feed a family of 4, doesn't mean shit. Maybe you eat like birds and your monthly bill looks like this.... Crackers-$800 That's a lot different than if you spend $1600 on a family of 4 in a month but there is 10 dozen eggs 8-1 pound steaks 6 pounds sweet potatoes 6 pounds of deli ham 6 pounds of deli turkey 4 pounds of cheese 2 bags of string cheese Box of 32 yogurt 3 gallons milk 12 cans of campbells soup 1 case of gatorade Nutella 24 waffles 18 hamburgers Large Bag of Broccoli 2 large Bags of Spinach 2 Large bins of Tomatoes (Cherry) Romaine Lettuce Large Tomatoes A few Onions 2 Bags of Asparagus Large Bag of Brussel Sprouts 1 or 2 large bins Blue Berries 1-2 bins of Raspberries 6-8 Cucumbers Pickles 12-18 Avocados Several Bunches of Bananas Bacon 3 loves of bread Hamburger Buns Hot Dog Buns Almonds Walnuts etc etc etc. I'm not saying I eat cheaply. I'm not saying I eat the healthiest but at least write down what and how much you buy at what cost so the information is useful. I shop predominately at Costco, Aldi, and Trader Joe's and our bill is around $1500-$1600 a month. Family of 4 with Two HS athletes.
