Sorry, just have to get it out... I HATE weekends!!! I SAH with a toddler. My husband does nothing around the house, almost literally. Not that there's a huge household to take care of, so I don't complain. the only thing I really want and need him to do is to take our toddler for a walk in the afternoon on Sat and Sun, to give me a couple hours to relax, do chores, run errands and what not. I just want to be ALONE, I don't mind cleaning etc in the meantime. And he routinely finds excuses NOT to do it. At first he swore he would do both morning and afternoon walks. then suddenly he is sooo tired and has to sleep in in the mornings. Fine. Then he is again sooo tired of not having days off without any chores (and who does have them??) and he wants Saturday to himself. This long weekend he "is not feeling well" so no Saturday walk again!! I am so freaking tired of it. On top of it, his lazy a** is on the couch, I am sick of overhearing his stupid movies he watches on his laptop, and of course when it is time for the toddler's nap he absolutely has to get up and start hovering around, of course the little guy runs out of his bedroom - dada! dada! Arrrgghhhh. I know I am a lazy sucker b/c I even have a babysitter come in twice a week to watch the kid for a couple of hours, but...arrrghhh.
