Trying to decide whether to invest 4500 in a new battery for my 2007 Prius or buy a new car. Prius is old but has been reliable and is my dog car;) kids almost 16 and will be learning to drive soon and feel like the Prius not super safe for learning but I also don’t want them learning in a new car with all the bells and whistles as I want them to learn by relying on their own senses. Budget is definitely a consideration. Any advice/experience? We have another car- highlander- that is the reliable long trip car.
Priuses are actually highly rated as sage cats for teens Many people say their promises went well until 250k miles and higher. How many miles on your car? I would ask a car mechanic who does not want to sell you a new car (ie not Toyota dealer) for an opinion on the pros and cons for your car.
Holy moly what a typo - sage cats = safe cars 😀
