Does appealing ever work? I mean it's like saying hey my kid deserves to be admitted. The problem is 400/800 applicants are basically identical on paper. In the end, I don't know what would change anything. New information?[/quote]

The initial letter when they were placed in wait pools stated:

“The records of all students in the wait pools will be automatically reviewed as part of the Level One Appeals process.”

It seems that the appeal process was initiated by virtue of choosing to remain in the wait pool.[/quote]

So now, they are getting rejections of appeals, with zero mention of whether they are in the wait pool or not in the wait pool any longer. Kind of a mess.[/quote]
