I think all of this starts with an honest mirror-facing evaluation about how good your DD really is, and whether she has much to gain by playing in this tournament. If she plays at a very high level, makes an A team and wants to leave coaches with one last impression before they formalize their lists, it’s worth it. If your DD is a good player but maybe hasn’t shown herself well throughout the tournament season and wants another shot to impress college coaches, it’s worth it. If she’s not a top area player and hasn’t received much interest over the summer, this tourney probably won’t help much. It’s an individual decision that isn’t for everyone. But it can definitely help tip the scales given the college coaches in attendance.[/quote]
