My DS got admitted to CS (UW 4.0, UC 4.33)

UC mainly look at 10th and 11th grade GPA. I think they also cap your AP/honors to two courses per semester. So you can have a max of 8 AP/honors grades in your course listing if you follow semester based system.

You can list additional AP/honors courses. Application readers will see them in evaluating course rigor, they just won't be adding to the weighted average.
