We did. We used “beyond paint” in off white to our kitchen cabinets. We removed all the doors and drawers even though website says you can keep it on. The main 2 things we followed to a “t” were 1.) prepping the cabinets properly (using a cleaning solution to remove all grease and grime) then dry. Make sure it’s done correctly. 2.) Let the painted doors/drawers cure for 2 weeks. We did ours almost 3. We bought those painting pyramids to allow them to dry. I must say there’s a technique in applying this paint as it is thick and chalky. Don’t roll too much of it. We’ve had ours painted for a year and a half now. So far no chipping. If you’re not comfortable with the big project, try it on a smaller furniture and see how it turns out.
Is that to say you didn't rehang the doors for 3 weeks? Did you sand between coats!
Yes, we didn’t rehung for 3 weeks. Company says full cure is 30 days. We just left them open after we hung them back until 30 days. This brand claims no sanding hence we chose it. Just make sure you buy a good prepping solution to wipe all parts of your cabinets with clean rags so paint will adhere. I wish I can attach photos. We’re pleased with it. We don’t have kids. If we did, we would have used off white for above countertops and espresso or darker pigment for under sink cabinets.
