This is a winning issue for republicans because parents want merit based public schools, and don’t want grooming.
As a parent, I'm much more worried about the Proud Boys coming to my town to scream "groomer" at kids, like they did yesterday, than I am about non-existent grooming in public schools.
You think pedophiles in schools are non-existent? Hmm.
Well why dont you put lots of time and energy into that issue again for 2024 so it can be an ineffective campaign issue again and the republicans can way under perform again.
Ma'am, I just think your thesis that no child has ever been molested in schools is laughable and a perfect example of why DeSantis's measures were popular even among democrats in Florida.
My thesis is that the republicans overemphasis on this issue cost them votes in 2022. I hope they continue to make the same mistake.
That's another thesis, in addition to your belief that pedophiles are basically Bigfoot. The GOP lost because they ran a bunch of losers. On the issues, the GOP polled very well. It was the candidates. On these issues, democrats do not poll well. But democrats ran slighly less insane people, for the most part. Look at the data as it is, not as you want it to be.
We are saying the same thing. Loser candidates that did not focus on the right issues to attract enough votes to win.
The issues were right. But in my case, they gave me the option of Herschel Walker. He is a visibly stupid person who is also profoundly mentally ill. So it doesnt matter if he parrots the right issues.
Excellent. Go find some excellent candidates that want to sell themselves on these excellent issues. Good luck.
