[/quote] While my former HS friend never admitted to lying on her application, she received a special scholarship for black applicants. She was Latina, not black at all. She was excited at first and then I pointed out that it was fraud and what if the school found out. She clearly hadn’t thought of that. She ultimately declined the scholarship and told them there must have been a mistake on her application. She was lucky they didn’t pull her admission. She had clearly checked a box and applied for a scholarship she wasn’t eligible for. And this was a long time ago. [/quote]
