Class Placement: o The classes are divided by students’ age and further divided into each student’s proficiency (beginner, intermediate, advanced). ? Adult class o Adult classes will be separated from children’s classes o The curriculum is based on the Korean Education Center in Washington DC’s (KECDC) recommendations. ? Course work: o Korean (Speaking, listening, reading, and writing), Korean culture, Korean history o Extracurricular activities include: Taekwondo, Korean traditional dance, Korean traditional percussion, color paper folding (we will invite an outside expert), art, music, Chinese characters, mathematics, compositions, dramas, story-telling, poetry readings, SAT2, etc – are offered. ? Class schedule: 1st period (9:00~9:40): Korean speaking& listening Break (11:10~11:30): snacks 2nd period (9:45~10:25): Korean Reading 4th period (11:30~12:00): Korean culture & history 3rd period (10:30 ~11:10): Korean Writing 5th period (12:10~13:00): Extracurricular activities ? Registration: o May 19th, 2012 ~ August 19th 2012 ? Annual Tuition: o $380 per student for one year o Within family 2nd student will be $360 and the 3rd student is $340 o Extracurricular activities that require an outside expert will require $80 additional to the tuition o Registration after 8/19/12 will require late fee $20. o Early registration (before 6/2/12) for the current students will be given $20 discount o The annual tuitions are not refunded and only given in credit. ?
