My problem is not with the principal—it was with Chris crank comms guy. Parents, staff and students at BCC in September received zero info during an hour long lockdown/threat of gun on campus. At that time promises were made of fixing the way comms was handled. Nothing was learned or fixed months later.
Try over a year later. Churchill parents had the same complaints about communication after a student from another high school threatened students and a parent with a knife in the bus loop. Magruder parents also had similar complaints during the school shooter incident. MCPS Central Office have had plenty of opportunities to learn from prior incidents to improve communication yet nothing has been done to improve communication.
