Ok, I'm very confused to say the least about this thread. Just to add in my perspective, as a parent of two children who are currently attending BCS, we've had an amazing experience there. I've found the teachers to be extremely knowledgeable, creative, and caring. My son is in his second year there and my daughter just started this year. Other parents are very welcoming and involved, and I've felt great about the director, manager, teachers, and also the teachers who are there in the afternoons (both of my children stay later as I work). The program is flexible in terms of scheduling in that children can leave at 12, 1, or stay for nap and aftercare. My son has speech and langauge issues, and he has received great attention in the form of special efforts by teachers, communication with us, and they have been very receptive to reviewing and implementing suggestions from professionals. I've been in the classrooms at times for different things, and have always observed teachers being fun, sensitive, and nurturing. Feedback to parents is helpful and also sensitive. I feel like these parents are talking about an entirely different place!!! Just wanted to add in a very different view.
