My high schooler is completely stressed out.  He has been diagnosed with mono and has been out of school for a week.  He went back today (but wasn't 100% but didn't want to miss more school) and his math teacher told him he needs to take tests tomorrow and thursday on material they did while he was out.  I think that surely there s a policy giving more time but I can't find it!  (I don't actually know all of the details; it seems likely that at least one of these was a test from the first day of his absence (simply because I don't know how they could fit so many tests into a week).

I think the issue is that it's the end of the term so teacher wants everything in this week.  But the kid doesn't know the material.

A secondary issue is that he was out for Covid in December and I don't think he actually turned in an assignment from back then (the school has a designated day where all makeup work should be submitted prior to interims and he was out with Covid that week and figured he missed his chance.  That's just a homework in the 10% category, but he's now convinced he will fail math and so every point counts!
