There was also a recent day time shootout at Veterans Plaza, the senseless killing of the senior citizen for no reason in the parking garage, and constant carjackings at gunpoint. Yet look at the composition of the council. What did voters think would happen?  The only thing as shocking as the huge spike in crime in MoCo, especially in Silver Spring, is the fact that MoCoites keep getting garbage results, keep voting the same, and keep expecting improvements. How is the entire county of people this dense?  Truly mind boggling people in MoCo vote for stupid, get stupid, yet expected something else. The story of the killer who murdered a guy in Silver Spring and the police later found the decomposing corpse of a pregnant woman in his apartment is shocking.[/quote]
