I teach in a different district so I took time off to take a trip just like you all take time off work when you vacation with your kids on spring break. The difference is that we have to get subs and parents get upset when their child's teacher isn't there. ;) IMHO, there should just be a NOVA unified calendar that is set 2-3 years out. [/quote]
