[/quote] It's not about jerk teachers. That's the MCPS rule. And it's not a good idea to lie about the reason. The principal can authorize an excused absence for a reason that's not religious, sickness, etc. If you explain the situation, most principals will excuse the absence -- problem solved. [/quote]
