Is there an elected official in Fairfax County that is responsible for governance over utility companies?

My builder is a small time custom home builder that only builds 1-2 homes a year.  I'm not sure if larger home builders are having this same issue but regardless, 5+ months is egregious and it is costing me a small fortune.

Washington Gas hired a very good VP to deal with customer service that had gotten abysmal.   Call 703-750-1000 and work your way up until you find someone with authority.    It could be something as simple as the old owner did not terminate service and paid the final bill.

If you Washington Gas can’t help, look on Fairfax County’s website for your board member.  They usually have well connected assistants who get things done[/quote]
