I have had electricity (Dominion) and water (Fairfax Water) taken care of but my builder is telling me that gas (Dominion) is behind on all of their work orders.

He is getting the run around from Dominion (delays is all they can say) and because Fairfax County permitting department is working remote since the pandemic, there is no one who my builder can go see to provide him with help in resolving this issue.  They just tell him over the phone that he needs to wait.

Is there an elected official in Fairfax County that is responsible for governance over utility companies?

My builder is a small time custom home builder that only builds 1-2 homes a year.  I'm not sure if larger home builders are having this same issue but regardless, 5+ months is egregious and it is costing me a small fortune.
