There are racist gay people who hate blacks (for reasons unrelated to the perception that all blacks are against gay marriage). Why is that? I'm pro-SSM, but the thinking that "because you've been discriminated against, you must love everyone ever" is stupid. You shouldn't discriminate against others because it is wrong, not because your racial/ethnic/social/gender group has been the victim of discrimination. Women were discriminated against for who they are. Why are some women anti-gay marriage? The first Europeans in what's now America came here because they were discriminated against for their religion. Why are some of the descendants of those people anti-gay marriage?[/quote]
