I find this interesting b/c Romney of course, was at Bain. Not sure when these policies were adopted or if they were even adopted on his watch, but if you further explore the HRC site you'll see just how many Fortune 100 companies are in lockstep with this. There's even a coalition to extend the tax exclusion for benefits to domestic partners.

So, how is it that the business world, including Romney's own company, can have such tolerance, but on the campaign trail Romney will stake out the opposite view? Why can't this be one of those issues where the candidates agree, "hey, let's be human." I mean, the FREE MARKET loves gays and their partners.

I'd also note that Romney sat on the boards of many companies. I'd bet some of them extend domestic partner benefits as well.[/quote]
