One of the neighbors told us that Washington Gas told them that it was due to the construction over the last three years and also an increase in the number of cars driving on the street.  The latter sounds unbelievable as a factor.  The former makes sense.  In fact, that same neighbor just recently had a major construction project behind their house putting up a “she shed,” and also redoing their front and back yards, moving trees, shrubs, etc.  IMO obviously the major digging on their project is the cause of the issue.

Just curious what others think.  And also if anyone else has experienced this?  We are in DC BTW. [/quote]
