We had the house when we were younger but opted to travel rather than buy nice furniture. We used to joke about it - do we want to go skiing or buy a couch. Skiing always won.  Now we have plenty of money for both but I am really glad we opted for experiences over stuff.  The stuff came over time and we didn't really miss it when we were younger. [/quote]
