Don't most kids learn that Santa isn't real from another kid? This is totally normal. We never really made a big deal out of Santa. We leave out milk and cookies and a carrot for the reindeer, he brings a gift and leaves it under the tree, but we didn't go sit on his lap or make a big fuss about it. Playing Santa doesn't mean making a huge deal out of it. My kid is way more into decorating the tree and doing the Advent calendar than caring about Santa. It's just one little part of Christmas.
