There is one audition around February, sheet music is allowed. All the piano students are very high performing, there is a concert at DE next week and you can see some of them perform.

3-4 piano students are admitted in each freshman year, and perhaps 12 audition. The other instruments admit about the same, but I don't know for sure.

Your child should be playing ABRSM 8 or above, for piano.

Thank you!! This is very helpful. Would you say that a majority of the instrumental students have a pre-professional mindset/goals? I do not think this is DC’s path; trying to gauge student body culture, etc.[/quote]
